I'm Jo, and I love all things Pinterest. I started Wildflower in 2020 and for the last 5 years I've helped tons of bloggers grow their organic web traffic with Pinterest.

Outside of work I'm a hiker, trail runner and reader of books (I love the classics and like to read my daughter's YA books). I don't drink coffee, do drink green tea and I'm not a fan of the Instagram hamster wheel any more, which is why I've put this 9-grid up.

As a blogger myself I've found that social media isn't always the best way to grow a blog (I had an account with 22k followers on Insta which only gave me 5% of my blog traffic). I hated the pressure to post daily to feed the algorithm so I stopped. I grew all of my blogs using Pinterest and never looked back!

I like to keep things simple when it comes to my services. There's nothing complicated here!

Pinterest Account Set Up: For when you're just starting on the platform. I'll create a business account, carry out keyword research and optimise your account ready for pinning.

Pinterest Account Audit: Got an old account full of random things? Cool. I'll organise this and optimise it, ready to start promoting your blog.

Monthly Pinterest Management: This is where I take your account off your hands, giving you one less thing to deal with. Each month I'll create scroll-stopping pins linking to your blog, carry out keyword research and generally look after your Pinterest account better than I would my own (because mine is SO neglected!). You get the extra blog traffic, I get to play with spreadsheets. Win win!

Forget Google and it's HCU constantly destroying traffic - Pinterest is a much steadier prospect AND it's easier to get traffic from there - 97% of all searches on Pinterest are unbranded, meaning you don't need to have a huge marketing budget for ads to get your content seen on there. You also don't always have to have the number one spot like on Google.

It's a slow burn, but once it gets going the pins will bring in traffic for years to come, so much better than the average post lifespan on Instagram or TikTok (48 hours and 2 MINUTES 🤯). It's easy to see why more and more bloggers are moving away from social media and writing for Google and onto Pinterest!
